State of Ohio Stay-at-Home Order due to COVID-19 Pandemic

According to the US Department of Homeland Security, our business is considered Essential.

Dear Valued Customers and Suppliers,

The governor of Ohio and The Ohio Department of Health is filing a stay-at-home order for all Ohioans. The order will go into effect tomorrow night at midnight and will be in effect until April 6.

The Federal government, particularly the US Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency has identified 16 critical infrastructure sectors whose assets, systems and networks are considered vital to the United States and that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on the security, public health, safety and possibly the economic security of the country. It is important to note that PVC compounding and manufacturing is included in the Security and Chemical Sector of these guidelines.

Therefore, our business is considered Essential, and it is important that you know we are making every effort to remain open to meet our customers’ needs through this debilitating pandemic. Aurora Material Solutions’ guiding principle number one is “Safety First.” With that, we want to assure you we are taking critical steps to ensure the safety of our teams so they will continue to service your supply needs.

Fortunately, we have numerous contingencies already in place and are working to improve those to assure supply continuance. Barring a catastrophic escalation of the virus that impacts every single one of our production facilities, to the point each location must terminate production, we feel confident your demand will be met.

We are encouraging and directing our teams to take preventative steps to avoid getting sick and mitigate contamination risk at our facilities. These steps include numerous critical actions to protect our employees and those who need to visit our sites to ensure your needs are met.

Respectfully,

Darrell Hughes
CEO
