Aurora Plastics Appoints Plant Manager

Aurora Plastics announces the appointment Marco Mercier as plant manager for its facility in Marieville, Québec.

Mercier will be directly responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all manufacturing-related functions, prioritizing the work assignments of all operations personnel, and ensuring that Aurora Plastics consistently provides excellent customer service and high-quality products. He will work to achieve plant and company goals related to safety, the environment, productivity, quality, maintenance, continuous improvement and financial performance.

Prior to joining Aurora Plastics, Mercier served as vice-président/directeur general for Les Plastiques Évolupak Inc. in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Québec. He has also worked for Klöckner Pentaplast, Logoplaste, Amcor Flexible and Johnson & Johnson.

Mercier holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke in Québec.
