Aurora Material Solutions Appoints George Bixby as Sales Manager, Northeast Region

STREETSBORO, OH — July 8, 2019 — Aurora Material Solutions announces the appointment of George Bixby as sales manager for the company’s Northeast region.

In his 26 year career, George has held positions in engineering, marketing and sales.  Early on, he rose through various engineering roles within Ford Motor Company and General Electric Plastics.  More recently, he has held sales and marketing roles for the last 12 years within the plastics and composites industries.  His positions include account executive with Citadel Plastics, product manager for A Schulman, and vice president of client services and distribution for D&W Fine Pack, where he managed the company’s national distribution team as well as regional and corporate sales.

George holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.  He also has three master’s degrees:  operations management from Kettering University; manufacturing management from GMI Engineering and Management Institute; and plastics engineering – materials option from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.

George’s successful experience with plastics, marketing and sales will be a valuable asset to our organization and support to our growth plans.
